This is my first blog, I guess I'll start by telling how I came up with the name Riverside Dreaming.
When I was growing up in Oklahoma, my family and I would spend a week in a cabin at the Riverside Camp on the Illionis River every summer. It is in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Those weeks are my best memories from growing up! My family looked forward to it all year! There was no phone, no TV, but it was the most fun any of us ever had!
We would ~ Wake up ~ Eat breakfast ~ Swim ~ Eat lunch ~ Nap ~ Swim ~ Eat dinner ~ Roast Marshmollows ~ Play games ~ Sleep ~ And then start all over again the next day! LOL
I live in Indiana now and can't go back as often as I'd like! So I'm always "Riverside Dreaming"! The ironic thing is there is a river flowing through the town I now live in, but it's just not the same! LOL
I do enjoy taking photos of it, but I've never been in it!
Weird, I know!
My hobby is photography. My husband and I got our first digital camera last year and I love it. I am learning all the time and hope to get better with time!
I love taking photos of our 2 spoiled rotten kitties. Sassy and Tiger Lily. I also love taking photos of nature.
