Here are some views of my favorite place on earth. The Illinois River in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
When I was growing up in Oklahoma we would visit the Riverside Camp in Tahlequah for a week every summer.
We nearly always stayed in Cabin #6. This is a view of the back of the cabin. There was no phone, T.V., or radio, and I had the best times of my life in that cabin!
Here I am in front of the cabin when I was a little girl. I heard through a friend of my moms that lives in Oklahoma that they are tearing down the cabin this year and rebuilding it. It made me cry to think of tearing it down.
Here are a couple of shots of me with one of my brothers. The river is probably the thing I miss most abut living in Oklahoma.

This is indeed a breathtaking view, and some great memories to go with it!
LOL....pretty photos but I used to live in Nebraska, and the rivers were always filled with water moccasin snakes. You kids were brave!!!
