Photo Hunt *lazy*

This week the theme for Photo Hunters is LAZY. The first thing that came to mind was my lazy kitties. LOL

Here is Tiger Lily giving a whole new meaning to lazy. ;-)

Here is my sweet Sassy who passed away last year. She always had to have her pillow when she got lazy and needed a nap. LOL

Here is Tinkerbell, she is the newest addition to my collection of lazy cats! ;-)

Photo Hunt *sad*

The theme for the Photo Hunt this sweek is SAD.
When I drove by this house out in the country, I thought it was beautiful but sad too. It seems so lonely.

You can tell that it was a beautiful home in the past with a family that had sad and wonderful times in it. I wish walls could talk. I bet these walls would have some great stories to tell.

Photo Hunt *view*

Here are some views of my favorite place on earth. The Illinois River in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

When I was growing up in Oklahoma we would visit the Riverside Camp in Tahlequah for a week every summer.

We nearly always stayed in Cabin #6. This is a view of the back of the cabin. There was no phone, T.V., or radio, and I had the best times of my life in that cabin!

Here I am in front of the cabin when I was a little girl. I heard through a friend of my moms that lives in Oklahoma that they are tearing down the cabin this year and rebuilding it. It made me cry to think of tearing it down.

Here are a couple of shots of me with one of my brothers. The river is probably the thing I miss most abut living in Oklahoma.

So many great memories! :-)

Photo Hunt * wild *

Sunning Sea Lion, originally uploaded by Riverside Dreamer.

I took these photos of a sea lion at the Indianapolis Zoo. It was so beautiful. It looked like it was sunning itself. When someone made a noise it would look over like it was saying "What do you want?" LOL

Photo Hunt (colorful)

I was going to post some of my favorite colorful flower shots I've taken, but I decided to go off the beaten path this week and take some shots of my fridge. LOL

This is an overall shot...
.

Yes I love magnets. ;-) LOL

Here is the top of the left door, it has a lot of magnets that my parents have brought me back from their vacations...

Here are some closer shots of the right door, it has a LOT of cat magnets!!! I turn 40 tomorrow, so I have had a lot of years of collecting. LOL

Here are some that are on the side of the fridge....
That is just a small part of my collection. I love collecting magnets because they are small, portable, and show people part of your personality.
Do you have magnets on your fridge, or are you one of those people who have none, and think it clutters up your fridge? *gasp* LOL

Photo Hunt (DARK)

The first photo is one of my favorites. My husband said it makes him think of the Civil War photos he has seen. I haven't done much of the sepia tone with my photos, but this one seemed like it was made for it!

The second photo is one I took at the Gloryland Lighthouse Chapel in Hagerstown, Indiana. It is on a large piece of land where they hold a big flea market every Labor Day weekend.

I took the photo just as I was leaving. I loved the reflection on the water.

This last photo I took at the local fair last year

Photo Hunt

I think the first photo looks like a swan swimming through the clouds, what do you see?

The second photo is one of those rare times the camera didn't do what I though it would, but I call it a happy mistake, because I love how it turned out! :-) I love the blue!
